Lovely setting, staff attentive, food OK but extremely expensive! £20 for fish and a very small portion of chips with a spoonful of peas on the side and £9 for a waffle with ice cream.
Clearly capitalising on location in terms of tourists which is fair enough, but non tourists beware.
Lovely view of the rail bridge.
Summary: nice place, staff and food OK.. but EXTREMELY expensive and does not represent good value for money.

Be careful because there is an optional fee that is included in the final bill without informing the customer and it is not easy to see it. It is worth looking for another place just for that. The treatment is less friendly than usual.

Few visits over the last year and its obvious the quality and service are going down but the price is going up.
Also they automatically add a service charge here which is wrong especially when there are issues!
Luckily there are plenty other options in the area.

Great food and service -- and views of The Forth! Nikola was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for decent food, or for cakes and coffee.

Had dinner tonight, very festive feel with twinkly lights and candles. Food was delicious and plentiful, we were checked in on and served professionaly and without being overbearing. There was a live singer too which was fantastic. All in all a great place to go anytime and a firm family favourite of ours. Just make sure ypu leave room.for the epic homemade meringue!

Lovely friendly staff, very dog friendly - even gave a free pub-cup ice cream!

Nice view of the railway bridge. The food and drinks were a bit overpriced for the quality. Had the pancakes with "bacon and maple syrup". The maple syrup turned out to be golden syrup, which was disappointing.
